Hello everyone, my name is Nitin Kumar, I have completed my Bachelor's in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Inderprastha Engineering College. My passion for electronics and VLSI led me to join Pine Training Academy in my second year of college.
At Pine, I began with the foundation course in digital electronics, where I not only learned the theoretical aspects but also applied my knowledge to various projects. These projects included a signed calculator and a digital clock, which honed my practical skills.
For the placement batch, I specialized in ASIC Design and Full Custom Layout. This comprehensive program covered three major subjects: Analog Design, Layout Design, and Scripting.
In the Analog Design module, I performed simulations on RC circuits, studied the charging and discharging of capacitors, and gained a deep understanding of MOSFETs, CMOS inverters, amplifiers, current mirrors, differential pairs, and op-amps. This hands-on experience solidified my grasp of analog electronics.
In the Layout Design module, I designed layouts for various standard cells and CMOS inverters. I also explored advanced concepts like fingers, multipliers, and internal phenomena such as latch-up, antenna effect, electromigration, IR drop, shielding, and matching. This training provided me with the skills to create efficient and reliable layouts.
The Scripting and Automation module introduced me to essential Unix commands like pwd , ls, cat , rm , mkdir , cp , mv , find , grep , sed , and awk, as well as gvim editor commands. I learned Bash and TCL scripting languages, which enabled me to develop projects such as a text manipulator pro. This project enhanced my automation and scripting skills.
Pine Training Academy has not only imparted technical knowledge but also instilled professional ethics in me. I am grateful to the entire Pine team, especially Vaibhav Sir, Vivek Sir, and all my mentors, for their guidance and support.

Hello, my name is Mohd Sharique Alam. I have completed my B.Tech from KIET Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad in Electronics and Communication.
I choose this field because of my passion for circuits and technology. A VLSI session boost my interest, leading me to enroll at PinE Training Academy to bridge the gap between my academic background and industry needs.
In my foundation course, I concentrated on digital electronics and utilized my knowledge to develop projects such as adders, subtractors, multipliers, dividers, and a calculator.
For my placement batch, I chose to specialize in ASIC design and full custom layout, covering three main modules: analog, layout, and scripting.

Hello everyone. My name is Prachi Mishra,and currently I am pursuing Analog circuit design
and Full custom layout (asic) placement program with pine training academy in partnership
with amd.I am 2024 batch passout and completed my BTECH from KIET GROUP of
institutions in electronic and communication engineering .
When I was in 2 years I was involved with doing coding and dsa but later on i realised that
this is not my area of interest and i cannot continue with this for long terms . I wanted to do
something which is related to my field ece i was figuring out what to do , then one day in
college I came across with Vaibhav sir , he was there to give a presentation about career in
vlsi and how we can get into it . From there I got to know about PINE Training academy and
I got enrolled in a foundation batch program there. I learnt about digital electronics , Verilog ,
hardware circuit logic design , I made several projects in the foundation batch like 4 bit
signed calculator , 4 bit alu , frequency divider which raised my interest more toward this
field. During this foundation program I also did my summer internship with aujus where I
worked with industry professionals. Along with this I made some projects in Verilog and
hardware design and implemented it on fpga .
To make my career into the world of VLSI, being a fresher I knew I needed a training

In the placement program we got training for analog circuits , layout , scripting , bash ,tcl .
We used a cadence virtuoso tool for doing simulation of analog circuits along with theoretical
knowledge and making layout . In analog we have learnt about rc circuits , mosfet , charging
and discharging of nmos and pmos, current mirror , cmos inverter and did simulation of all
the circuits . In layout we have learnt about layout of pmos , nmos, inverter , basic gates
,fingering , multiplier ir drops , latching , electromigration , shielding , interdigitation ,
common centroid .

My name is Ishita Rawat, and I am from Greater Noida. I have completed my B.Tech in 2024
from Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology.
During the latter part of my third year, I joined the PinE Training Academy, beginning with
the Foundation Program. In this phase, I gained a solid understanding of Digital Electronics,
FPGA, and Verilog, along with hands-on experience in simulating and designing schematics
using the Xilinx ISE tool.
After completing the foundation course, I progressed to the ASIC Design and Full Custom
Layout Placement Program. There, I expanded my knowledge in Network Theory, Digital
Electronics, Analog Circuits, and Layout Concepts. Additionally, I developed skills in
automation, working with UNIX, Bash and TCL scripting.
In Analog Circuits, I learned about RC circuits, MOSFETs, CMOS Inverters, Single-Stage
Amplifiers, Current Mirrors, Differential Amplifiers, and Op-Amp Design. I worked on various
projects using the Cadence Virtuoso tool, where I analyzed all these circuits in detail.
I'm grateful to my Analog mentor, who guided me through the tool usage, circuit design,
and simulation processes. I also gained a strong understanding of different types of
analyses, including Transient Analysis, DC Analysis, and AC Analysis.
Towards the end of the program, I worked on a team-based project where we were given
circuit specifications. I designed and analyzed an Op-Amp circuit using the tool. Throughout
the project, my mentor provided valuable support and guidance, especially when I
encountered challenges.
In Layout Design, I gained a solid understanding of the CMOS fabrication process, the VLSI
design flow, and key layout concepts such as Fingers & Multipliers, Matching, IR Drop,
Electromigration, Well Proximity Effect, Latch-Up, Antenna Effect, Shielding, and more.
Our layout mentor guided us through the use of the tool and the step-by-step process of
creating layouts. During my training, I designed layouts for basic gates, CMOS inverters,
current mirrors, differential pairs, and operational amplifiers (Op-Amps).
By the end of the program, I became confident in working with the Cadence Virtuoso tool
and successfully created layouts on both 45nm and 90nm technology nodes.
During the placement program, I also gained hands-on experience in the UNIX environment
and completed several projects focused on UNIX, Bash scripting, and TCL-based automation.
I am grateful to Vaibhav Sir, Vivek Sir, and all the other mentors who guided me throughout
my VLSI journey—from the basics to advanced concepts. Their constant support and
motivation played a crucial role in my learning. After successfully completing the program, I
was placed at HCL Technologies.

My name is Nitin Kumar, I have completed my Bachelor's in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Inderprastha Engineering College.
At Pine, I began with the foundation course in digital electronics, where I not only learned the theoretical aspects but also applied my knowledge to various projects. These projects included a signed calculator and a digital clock, which honed my practical skills.
For the placement batch I specialized in ASIC Design and Full Custom Layout. This comprehensive program covered three major subjects: Analog Design, Layout Design, and Scripting.
In the Analog Design module, I performed simulations on RC circuits, studied the charging and discharging of capacitors, and gained a deep understanding of MOSFETs, CMOS inverters, amplifiers, current mirrors, differential pairs, and op-amps. This hands-on experience solidified my grasp of analog electronics.
In the Layout Design module, I designed layouts for various standard cells and CMOS inverters. I also explored advanced concepts like fingers, multipliers, and internal phenomena such as latch-up, antenna effect, electromigration, IR drop, shielding, and matching. This training provided me with the skills to create efficient and reliable layouts.
The Scripting module introduced me to essential Unix commands like pwd , ls, cat , rm , mkdir , cp , mv , find , grep , sed , and awk, as well as gvim editor commands. I learned Bash and TCL scripting languages, which enabled me to develop projects such as a text manipulator pro. This project enhanced my automation and scripting skills.
Pine Training Academy has not only imparted technical knowledge but also developed professional ethics in me. I am grateful to the entire Pine team, especially Vaibhav Sir, Vivek Sir, and all my mentors, for their guidance and support

Hi, I'm Shrey from Asic-14 batch. My journey with PinE Training Academy started during my
3rd year when Vaibhav sir visited my college for a seminar where he talked all about
electronics and the future of semiconductor industry. My curiosity for semiconductor is what
drove me to pursue Electronics and Communication Engineering and sit in the same room
as Mr Vaibhav sir. Before my meeting with him, I was little reluctant about this field but after I
left the room, having heard Vaibhav sir’s thoughts and vision, I was more that determined to
pursue this field. Soon after, I joined the Academy and it was one of the best decisions I ever
made. My training was full of support and care put in by Vaibhav sir and my teacher, Vivek
sir. I won't be where I am today if it wasn't for their support and their faith in me. Because of
them I was able to get placed in Hcltech and got the opportunity to work as a layout designer
on Intel project. I am extremely grateful to Vaibhav sir, Vivek sir and all my mentors at Pine
Training Academy for making me capable enough to chase my curiosity. Thank you.

My name is Ishita Rawat, and I am from Greater Noida. I have completed my B.Tech in 2024
from Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology.
During the latter part of my third year, I joined the PinE Training Academy, beginning with
the Foundation Program. In this phase, I gained a solid understanding of Digital Electronics,
FPGA, and Verilog, along with hands-on experience in simulating and designing schematics
using the Xilinx ISE tool.
After completing the foundation course, I progressed to the ASIC Design and Full Custom
Layout Placement Program. There, I expanded my knowledge in Network Theory, Digital
Electronics, Analog Circuits, and Layout Concepts. Additionally, I developed skills in
automation, working with UNIX, Bash and TCL scripting.
In Analog Circuits, I learned about RC circuits, MOSFETs, CMOS Inverters, Single-Stage
Amplifiers, Current Mirrors, Differential Amplifiers, and Op-Amp Design. I worked on various
projects using the Cadence Virtuoso tool, where I analyzed all these circuits in detail.
I'm grateful to my Analog mentor, who guided me through the tool usage, circuit design,
and simulation processes. I also gained a strong understanding of different types of
analyses, including Transient Analysis, DC Analysis, and AC Analysis.
Towards the end of the program, I worked on a team-based project where we were given
circuit specifications. I designed and analyzed an Op-Amp circuit using the tool. Throughout
the project, my mentor provided valuable support and guidance, especially when I
encountered challenges.
In Layout Design, I gained a solid understanding of the CMOS fabrication process, the VLSI
design flow, and key layout concepts such as Fingers & Multipliers, Matching, IR Drop,
Electromigration, Well Proximity Effect, Latch-Up, Antenna Effect, Shielding, and more.
Our layout mentor guided us through the use of the tool and the step-by-step process of
creating layouts. During my training, I designed layouts for basic gates, CMOS inverters,
current mirrors, differential pairs, and operational amplifiers (Op-Amps).
By the end of the program, I became confident in working with the Cadence Virtuoso tool
and successfully created layouts on both 45nm and 90nm technology nodes.
During the placement program, I also gained hands-on experience in the UNIX environment
and completed several projects focused on UNIX, Bash scripting, and TCL-based automation.
I am grateful to Vaibhav Sir, Vivek Sir, and all the other mentors who guided me throughout
my VLSI journey—from the basics to advanced concepts. Their constant support and
motivation played a crucial role in my learning. After successfully completing the program, I
was placed at HCL Technologies.
